(Healingtalks) In September of 2010 the FDA approved the first genetically animal safe for eating. The “product” is a genetically modified Atlantic salmon developed by AquaBounty Technologies  named AquaAdvantage Salmon (AAS).

AAS can incredibly grow twice as fast, which is an economic boom. More $$ are to be made, which blinds consciousness not to look at the likely negative impacts.

How this was accomplished

This growth rate was gained by modifying the salmon’s genome, the addition of a growth hormone gene, and an antifreeze gene. AquaBounty claims its salmon is an environmentally sustainable alternative . With AAS, the unnatural modification occurs in that two proteins are being introduced into the salmon’s genetic makeup are from other fish.

Supposed benefits of huge and hugely profitable frankensalmon

Presumed benefits include:

  • Enviro impact – AAS will be raised in land-based facilities to reduce the environmental impact on coastal areas
  • Diseases – May eliminate the threat of disease transfers.
  • Transport – Will allow the harvesters to live near these landbased food facilities, reducing some of the costs of fish transport and the use of fossil fuels, again helping the environment.

Ploy to sell harmful frankensalmon

The above ignores the following:

  • Health impacts – First there is the  issue of safety in eating  genetically modified salmon is “are they safe to eat?”  There is amply evidence that other genetically modified foods have ill health effects – including causing allergic reactions, digestive disturbances, infertility, and an overall weakening of the immune system. There have been no long term studies, as usual.
  • Environmental impacts – Then there is the issue of an ultimate environmental impact, especially if the AAS salmon are accidently introduced into the wild.  While AAS are designed for land facilities, precautions can never be fool-proof. This is why he Fish and Wildlife Service opposes frankenfish.

AAS salmon are all triploid females, which means that they are not only all female, but sterilized.  Sometimes this sterilization doesn’t work. There is a failure of sterilization in .1 to 1% of fish, which is a pretty small number, except fish farms usually contain  up to a 1 million fish – and many of these farms are to be established.

How this could impact wild fish populations is unknown. But given their size, they may be more attractive for mating then a natural Atlantic salmon, which could negatively impact wild salmon populations.

Ultimately these farms should be outlawed. But is established, knowing the industry’s history and arrogance, it is unlikely there will be adequate  monitoring to make sure these salmon mutants none escape to the wild. Also the US government has had a nonchalant attitude toward such environmental threats, as evidence by the growing of GMO crops in wildlife preserves. This is especially important in areas where a salmon population is now already present. As the video below shows, there is a real potential for destroying the natural salmon population.

(Healingtalks) When Michelle Obama first entered the White House, she wished to share her spirited persona – her style, beliefs, and pet projects. This included growing an organic garden with children and in order to inspire a connection with deeper nature as well as to help a nearby food bank. Not since Eleanor Roosevelt grew a Victory Garden at the White House during World War II had a First Lady again tilled that soil. But it was the first time the garden was distinctively postured as organic, thereby “breaking new ground.”

The intention of Mrs. Obama was simply to educate children about growing their own pure, unadulterated whole food – and at a time when the opposite, or processed foods contributed and were causing an epidemic of obesity and diabetes in the United States.  This was a valuable lesson in nutrition and growing food to high and pure standards. The Obama White House garden was grown organically and using the methods of farming this country has used for centuries to yield the most nutrition and “clean” foods to Americans.

Setting an inspiring example

The garden was 1,100 square feet, and 23 children from Bancroft Elementary School from Washington D.C., helped her dig the garden and plant the vegetables near the Obama swing set. Barack Obama, the President promised to pull the weeds when necessary and even Michelle’s mother was involved as a supervisor. Michele Obama broke the ground with her own foot, tilled the soil with the children to produce a magnificent garden that yielded fresh, organic and non-pesticide food for her own First Family. Many Americans were inspired because they naturally prefer produce that is locally grown – the way it was a century ago in usually extended-family and small farm settings.

Big Ag and the chemical/GMO industry didn’t see it that way

Quickly, the lobbyists went to work to stop our President’s wife’s blasphemy and they have successfully silenced her – stopping her forever for uttering the following most verboten  or banned and banished words:
  • Organic Food
  • Organic Gardening
  • Pesticide-Free Food

The lobbyists correctly instructed Michelle Obama instead to use the term:

  • Crop protection food products” – with Round Up, Monsanto GMO seeds and non-traditional chemically agriculture being more essential.

Why Mrs. Obama grew her “nasty” garden

Mrs. Obama noticed the family was eating too much processed foods so that her girls, Sasha and Malia, were gaining weight. Then her pediatrician advised her to have them move away from eating junk foods – those that included excessive salt, sugar and fat.

But Mrs Obama succumbed to “better” advice from political forces

Her family needs soon became secondary to the required political messages enforced by lobbyists who  pay big mullah to elect politicians. They silenced her misguided zeal about organic gardening.

Who pulls the puppet strings in Washington, DC.

This so dramatically illustrates the reigning power of lobbyist in the Obama administration. So does the fact that Obama hired Tom Vilsack, a hard-core supporter of GMOs, to head of the USDA.

Michelle should have known better!

Though Mrs Obama caved to lobbyist, she long ago should have known better . Having a nation of healthy children is not what the pharmaceutical industry has in mind for American – especially if the children start out in life to learn such healthy, organic nutrition lessons. The resulting good health would bankrupt the industry’s game. It would put thousands of chemists out of work, adding the the nation’s already strained unemployment roster.
One of the greatest “successes” of the Big Pharma industry  is seeing 1 in 4 children regularly taking medical drugs. They are not ingesting organic foods – come on now, what a yuk idea! From a business point of view,  half of all teenagers in America wonderfully suffer from some chronic illnesses that needs treatment – like diabetes, obesity and the four A’s, asthma, allergies, autism, and attention deficit disorder. The statistics have doubled over the last 30 years and so have the profits. We don’t want America to go backwards now, do we ? A whole nation shifting to a nutrient rich diet would play havoc with the great gains of pharmaceutical stocks on Wall Street.

Michelle Obama must have been taking hallucinogens when she said: “You can begin in your own cupboard by eliminating processed food, trying to cook a meal a little more often, trying to incorporate more fruits and vegetables.” (2009) The First Lady was thus chastized  and corrected by the biggest agriculture corporations. Michele Obama’s garden first yielded 80 pounds of vegetables from seeds before Ms Obama yielded to lobbyists.

Whose telling our government what best to do

Mid America CropLife Association (MACA) and organization that lobbies for the pesticide and Big Ag industry sent Mrs. Obama a letter to instruct her about living in a different world than our grandparents. It advised her that their lifestyle was not what most Americans want anymore.

Mrs Obama had to be “set right”

The First Lady should fall in line and serve her family only pesticide-rich foods to promote a future population suffering from cancer and other high-maintenance systemic illnesses. Corporate profit interests must, after all, come first – far before health, safety, eating nutritious foods. Thus Mrs Obama had to be “set right” by MACA. This same group represents Monsanto, Dow AgroScience, Dupont Corporation and so on. The fact that Michelle Obama did not use pesticide-sprayed seeds at all, and did not need to spray chemicals on her plot shows she needs some  serious “re-education.” The group advised her not ever to use the word organic or to promote organic gardening in any way.

Better living through chemistry

One shouldn’t believe that pesticides or pesticide-sprayed seeds, plants, foods, and processed foods containing GMOs all are linked to cancer, cardiovascular disease,  and birth defects. Rather we should follow the greater leadership of Tom Vilsack  -  a former defense lawyer for Monsanto. We should applaud that Vilsack was named Secretary of Agriculture by the Obama administration and  for reasons not of influence peddling by big agriculture and campaign donations – but because it was the right thing to do.

Obama’s “wisdom” and trying to be with the times stretches only so far

Obama’s wisdom apparently guides him to keep his doors wide open to corporate interests, and so much so they even dominate the kind of garden his wife is allowed to grow and what ends up in his kitchen cupboard or on his dinner plate.If we can force people to have vaccinations, this doesn’t see like such a bad thing.
Still hush, hush, the Obamas are not perfect.
Sometimes they indulge themselves and dine out at an organic restaurant.

(Healingtalks) If you read the ingredients label on a loaf of bread, you will usually find an ingredient listed there as L-cysteine.

This is a non-essential amino acid added to flour and baked goods as a dough conditioner and to speed industrial processing of breads. It’s not added in home use but rather for making of commercial breads, pizza dough, bread rolls, pastries, and the like.

How L-cysteine Is Made

L-cysteine is usually either synthesized in laboratories or extracted from a natural protein source: human hair. The hair is dissolved in acid and L-cysteine is isolated chemically, then packaged and shipped off to commercial bread producers.

Other Source of L-cysteine

L-cysteine can also be made from chicken feathers, duck feathers, cow horns and petroleum byproducts. But most of the hair used to make L-cysteine is from the floors of barbershops and hair salons in China.

While the thought of eating dissolved hair might make some people uneasy, most Western consumers have no principled objections. though some do.

Religious Objections

For Jews and Muslims, the hair-derived L-cysteine poses significant problems. Muslims are forbidden from eating anything derived from a human body, and many rabbis forbid hair consumption for similar reasons. Even rabbis who permit the consumption of hair would forbid it if it came from corpses — and since much L-cysteine comes from China, where sourcing and manufacturing practices are notoriously questionable, this is a real concern. In one case, a rabbi forbade the consumption of L-cysteine because the hair had been harvested during a ritual at a temple in India.

(Healingtalks) The recent destruction of the American people’s way of life began more than 30 years ago when the Reagan administration crafted deliberate policies that stopped enforcement of antitrust laws at the Department of Justice. This encouraged vast corporate mergers. It launched an assault on common sense government and its oversight.

Since that time, politicians  have undermined public welfare and embraced the radical notion of “free” markets to feed corporate greed, and without accountability.

Occupy Wall Street Movement

Occupy Wall Street was born out of a legitimate frustration with this collusion between Big Business and our elected officials in a supposed representational democracy.

Corruption of our Food

Nowhere is that collusion greater than in the field of food and agricultural production where

  • Four firms control 84 percent of beef packing,
  •  66 percent of pork production and one company
  •  Monsanto, controls patents on more than 93 percent of soybeans
  • Monsanto controls the patents for 80 percent of corn grown in the U.S.

Ironically, on the day that Occupy Wall Street launched, Dave Murphy who crafted the seed ideas for this article was in San Francisco at a conference named “Justice Begins with Seeds”  and to discuss the problems of excessive corporate control over our food supply!

The incredible growth in the use of genetically modified (GMO) seeds and the excessive corporate influence of biotech seed companies have in Washington was high on the agenda. Much like the ubiquitous credit default swaps of the mortgage crisis, which became toxic assets for the global economy, this new technology of GMO seeds is less than two decades old, but already appears in an estimated 75 to 80 percent of processed food that Americans eat everyday.

Statistics of GMO Food Monopolization

In 2011, an estimated 94 percent of soybeans, 88 percent of corn, 90 percent of cotton, 93 percent of canola and 95 percent of sugar beets produced in the U.S. contain GMOs. And since most items in the grocery store include common ingredients such as high fructose corn syrup, vegetable oils made from corn, soybeans, cottonseed and canola, with 8 out of every 10 bites of processed food, Americans are consuming genetically engineered foods without knowing it.

Despite a recent Reuters poll showing that 93 percent Americans support mandatory labeling of GMO foods, politicians in Washington and Monsanto lobbyists have so far blocked this basic right.

Even now, more than 50 countries around the world require labeling of GMOs, including citizens in the European Union, Japan, Russia and even China.

Political False Promises and Lies

Food Democracy Now! recently released an exclusive, never before seen video taken in 2007 of then Senator Barack Obama promising a room full of more than 400 Iowa farmers and rural activists that if elected he would immediately work to label food that “has been genetically modified because Americans should know what they’re buying.”

Incredibly, President Obama made this comment during the Iowa caucus, in a mostly rural state with a leading agricultural economy, which he won by a wide margin and helped launch him to the White House. With the national conversation now raging about corporate influence it’s curious that he hasn’t kept his promise since taking office.

In another portion of the speech, more widely circulated, Obama offered the hope that his administration would differ vastly from the administrations before him.

“For far too long, you’ve had to listen to politicians tell you one thing out on the campaign trail, and then close the door and do another thing in Washington when they make rural policy. You’re sending your message, but sometimes you can’t get through because there’s a lobbyist who’s already on line,” professed Obama.

Wholesale Political Food Betrayal

Four years later however, the shine of Obama’s victory has worn off, leaving many of us to wonder if this isn’t the most agribusiness friendly administration yet.

The approval in one year of four new biotech crops

  • GMO alfalfa
  • GMO sugar beets
  • GMO ethanol corn
  • Roundup Ready bluegrass for lawns

This  represents the same threat that financial deregulation and the resulting economic crash does to our food supply.

GMO Animal Foods

Even this week, more news of the Obama administration’s love affair with food and crop biotechnology is making the rounds, with an announcement last Monday that the Food and Drug Administration recommended the commercialization of GMO salmon (despite flawed scientific research).

Currently the evaluation is under review at the White House Office of Management and Budget, but if the administration is as cavalier with GMO salmon as they have been with other GMO crops, the first genetically engineered animal could be a plate near you soon.

At the same time the Obama administration has decided to “plow ahead” with the indiscriminate approval of GMOs, a flood of recent studies have disproven several previous claims by the agricultural biotech industry, such as the perilous rise of superweeds, insects becoming resistant to the genetically inserted insecticide Bacillus thuringiensis (Bt), and a disturbing report out of Canada that found that 93 percent of pregnant mothers tested had the genetically engineered Bt toxin in their blood, something biotech scientists claimed was impossible.

Revolving Door Between Government and Industry

In the 1990s, when agricultural biotech companies wanted to make sure nothing got between them and profits, they rotated executives into high-ranking positions in government to help write the rules that govern approval of GMO crops.

In the most famous example, former Monsanto attorney and super lobbyist Michael Taylor oversaw biotechnology regulations at the Food and Drug Administration that placed rBGH, a synthetic hormone, in the milk supply, despite the objections of agency scientists, and implemented the policy declaring genetically engineered foods to be “substantially equivalent” to naturally bred seeds and animals, the main Catch 22 of why GMOs are not required to be labeled in the U.S.

Currently, Michael Taylor is back at the FDA as the Food Safety Czar. So much for closing the revolving door.

For Everyone Who Eats

For everyone who eats, the events that brought down our banking system and the lack of accountability and for those who rigged the rules in their favor should be lessons in the making.

Today’s system of industrial agriculture has become overly concentrated and corrupt, while corporations are continually advocating more of the same. Rather than encourage a diversified portfolio in agriculture, the Obama administration and the USDA are doing everything in their power to put all of global agriculture’s eggs in the biotech basket.

If people and elected officials think the collapse of the global economy was a disaster, wait until it happens to our food supply.

The truth is, if people really knew about the collusion behind what they were eating, both parties would be in the streets. For some reason, Obama has so far sided with chemical and biotech seed giants like Monsanto, who keep insisting that Americans should be dining in the dark. It’s time to remind President Obama of his promise, after all there’s nothing more important than the food that we eat and feed our families. And some things are worth fighting for.

So much of what is happening in our tumultuous world…..from earthquakes, river floodings and tzunamis, to the overturning governments in the Middle East and our own Occupy Wall Street movement…..is unsettling.

Why are these things happening now?

Here is an explanation you won’t find elsewhere

So PLEASE pass this on to friends and family. It is important.

My dad left Germany in the 1940′s just before its collapse, and after reading Hitler’s Mein Kampf he saw the writing on the wall.

When any person decides to become say…. an astronaut, football player, musician, actor or actress or whatever…. common sense tells us that their key decisions in life were made from deep inside, after some soul-searching along with the influences of  family, friends, teachers and their environment to then shape their lives. However, we don’t often think that way about what shapes the course of civilizations.

Perhaps this is because we don’t take serious the motto that ‘changes happen from the inside out.”

The dominant “religion” or highest set of truths for all the why and how things happen in our world is apparently physics and chemistry. They offers a mechanical explanation of the why and how of things or how  “changes happen from the outside in” …like a billiard balls might mechanically touch the outside surface of another after colliding to then move a ball in a certain direction.

Let’s assume the prior motto is true… the inside out one…and even for the collective or group consciousness. Then let us ask what is it on the inside view of modern civilization that is leading or misleading us to our demise.

What Most Sets of the Course of Civilizations From the Inside Out

Like the personal choice of a career, where to live, and whether to raise a family or not, the answer for the collective society might lie in something else – the core of the core of our vision of nature.

Why?

Because these visions tend to have certain beliefs that function as “central paradigms“  – some core view that connects the whole of understanding – the whole course of life – much like the center of a flower connects all the pedals in all directions.

Do we have such a central paradigm… a core of cores…. a ‘soul” to our modern worldview?

The answer is a resounding yes. Central paradigms give integrity to a vision and usually present.

The dominant culture-wide adoption of this particular central paradigm – taking root in the collective inner subconsciousness – occurred dramatically in the 17th century – and it is this process that has set us on our present course toward a precipice, to our own self-created demise and the destruction of nature around us.

A Global Mind Change in the 17th Century

Western civilization actually changed course from having a prior central paradigm or cultural soul.  It experienced what is called a global mind change.

It shifted radically to a new overall path during the 17th century.

This was from the medieval, biblical or religious-led culture whose highest truth and/or central paradigm was revelations through the Bible to one a new reliance on the truths of astronomy, physics, chemistry, and related sciences. Did these sciences have a single common central paradigm that unified their separate discipline understandings as one?

They did.

It was the mathematical understanding of the universe or as Sir Isaac Newton expressed it in Latin the “principia naturalis mathematica.

The vision also later developed its first duality, matter and energy, which E=mc2 attempted to reunite as one, mathematically of course. Its understanding focused around the atom, which in ancient Greek meant the indivisible 1, because mathematics is built up on integers with 1/1=1, or with 1 being indivisible. Thus nature’s building blocks had to be the same as those of symbolic mathematics. This was the new faith adopting by some in ancient Greece and which again came to cultural prominence and dominance in the 17th century.  That vision evolved, flowered and began to bear fruit in the 19-21st centuries.

This new highest, supposedly truest vision also led us onto the path of the Industrial Revolution and found a wecoming home in our modern commercial and technologically-driven world, departing again from the medieval, biblical God-centered view.

Mapping Out a New Course of Civilization From the Inside Out

How did the new understanding determine an overall course?

Well, the 17th century was so extremely excited, self-assured and enamored by what they discovered  (and fueled by the Enlightenment belief that man,  under the direction of God, was destined to rule over all of nature and on a road of ever rising human progress) that objectivity went out the window.  Consciousness was not put above the mathematical view, rather the contents of consciousness were judged mathematically. Anything that couldn’t find precise math-correspondence wasn’t really real!

But sorry to inform my scientific friends, in my opinion physicists, chemists, allopathic doctors, and economists – all applying the symbols of mathematics in a dominant, central paradigm way – failed to truly see what they were doing in and to their consciousness. Even less did they have any sense of what they were about to do to the outer world “from the inside out.

Stripping Naked the Illusions of a Mathematical Cosmos

There are four important things we need to know about the mathematical vision of nature, leading or misleading us on our present paths toward multi-dimentional self-destruction.

  • Demythologzied – Stripped naked – and with consciousness placed above the mathematizing process,  first math symbols are simply mental symbols not something given to us by God to man in order to understand to the world.  It’s hard to imagine these days now this happened but the 17th century philosophers who promoted this view (resurrecting beliefs from the Golden Age of Greece) were devout Christians. It was according to Newton, that not only was the atom the indivisible one, like 1/1=1 and where numbers were the building blocks of nature but, to quote Newton, where “the atom was what God had made One on the first day of Creation.” This was a belief-directed vision that then took on the mantle of supposedly being objective or ‘scientific.”
  • Universal Separation Symbols – What really is going on is that math symbols, being symbols or pointing tools for our minds, point abstractly or universally to how to separate all elements of consciousness. To separate universally is to most deeply and fully disintegrate. It is to map the course of things falling apart! Universal symbols of separation offer a misguidance.  If  everyone understood this, no one would adopt a math-based vision of nature – whose impact now is engulfing us because it is indeed being universally and deeply applied -  again from the inside out.
  • Illogical and Irrational – It is impossible to best connect a vision, any vision let alone that of all of nature, by systematically and universally separating all of our consciousness of nature. This is why the vision is fails and cannot but fail us.  We glorify the Einstein’s of our times, while several Nobel-Prize-winning physicists have come down with Alzheimer’s disease. This is because the mathematical vision needs to be demythologized. It cannot integrally point to a deep and real understanding of the nature of our consciousness, nor of the depth essence of our world.  It is rather an illogical and irrational vision, one whose misguidance is powerfully dangerous.  As a final note, one can no better connect a vision of nature using the very highest (meaning the most universal) abstractions of separation than one can glue things together with one’s most high powered chainsaw.
  • Machines Never Once  Occur  in Pristine Nature – Go to any forest, desert, ocean or mountain peak and you will never evernot once – find a single machine in pristine terrains (human-untouched), not even a simple bicycle, unless planted there by man and as a biproduct of his internal math-led vision. It is man’s hubris that creates these unnatural creations to have power over nature, supposedly.  How can what never once occurs be the model for what everywhere and always occurs throughout our cosmos. It takes a certain insanity to believe that. Well, welcome to the modern worlds insanity taken to be ultimate sanity. Its the same modern world where chemicals that cause cancer and yet are postured and used to supposedly cure cancer. Never mind that they fail 98+ percent of the time, as could be predicted. This pays homage to a diehard holding on to a bankrupt vision.Again the vision defies our senses, and logic, though we hypnotically continue to believe. When someday we will wake up from this bad cultural dream, we will see how it has shaped a world falling apart from the inside out. How to Get Beyond the “Core Religion” of Our Times

Conventional schooling brainwashes us not to question our teacher’s teachings. We compete to get A’s on tests by agreeing with rather than challenging our teacher’s beliefs.

The precepts of our basic sciences are given the aura of highest of high or unchallengeable truths.

We look to the invention of machines  (the ideological correspondence to that vision) for validation.  Don’t you love that Mustang, jet plane or cell phone? We mix up that fact that certain inventions can represent an aspect of nature, but not necessarily its soul.

Have you ever seen a periodic table of elements hung high in a science classroom? And like a religious icon to revere? This is even though it has long been proven by electron microscopes that a) atoms are not at all indivisible and b) the periodic table does not truly represent exact whole numbers of atomic masses!

What we really need is a different core view, something far less ideological and more rational, intelligent, and most of all integral. Then we can look to vision fruits that are not black and rotting.

How can we accomplish this?

I have outlined this in my many discussions and post as a math prodigy turned renegade – and about an alternative life-and -consciousness-centered understanding of our cosmos, and of all of nature.

This is a road map to the reconstruction of all the major paths of modern consciousness.

This re-understanding is the basis for a step higher global mind change.

It is a real turnaround that hopefully others will catch onto, our civilization from the inside out – and for me as the only real way it can effectively have an antidote to what makes modern living turn ill.

Unfortunately it is looming mass sufferings that trigger mass changes. I have seen this especially after I started an alternative cancer treatment center. Making a shift from a  diet of junk foods to quality foods tends to happen after a bout with serious illness or even being at the doorstep of death. We sometimes are not ready to make massive changes until we have suffered greatly or our life is nearly snuffed out.

Fast Forward to the 21st Century

The signs major change on a societal or cultural level are nevertheless happening. It is both frightening from the suffering end and exciting at the same time from the liberating end.

We are waking up from a bad dream. It is the naive and blinded dream of unending progress fueled by a bankrupt 17th century understanding – and what has led us on this overall course.

Species Dying

We suddenly face an unprecedented, nature-destructive and non-sustainable world where already about 1/4 to 1/2 of all life forms are threatened with extinction.

But our world is falling apart at multiple seams – ecological, health, social, psychological (with an epidemic of mental and consciousness diseases) and political fronts.

And there is the pollution and disruption of our planet to the extent that now the whole eco-sphere of the globe is disturbed,  as with see with global weather crises rising each year in number and intensity.

Where the Clash of Vision and Reality is the Greatest

The arena where the signs of things in shambles are the greatest is the healing arts.

Why? This is because the healing arts involve our deepest connections to wholeness, and to use the most separative symbols to structure all of consciousness, including the healing arts, results in the most grossly anti-healing practices (exposing chronically ill patients to drugs, surgery and radiation) like using the most toxic chemicals that cause cancer to try to reverse cancer!

Like a religion whose faith is waning and falling apart, the faithful priests of that view (allopathic doctors, physicists, chemists, Wall Street traders and economic statisticians) may tend to refuse to face the reality of what is really happening.

It is heretics who may differentiate the shit from the toilet!

Shift in the Making

The exciting part is that we are privileged to see the closing of an era and the birth of a new one.

It would be nice if our future leaders remembered the importance of liberty and personal responsibility, of course. The answer to all the world’s problems, it turns out, is freedom — freedom in medicine, freedom in economics and freedom from government tyranny.

Because, let’s face it: The root cause of most these problems that are bringing down our world right now is bad government. It is bad government (Big Government) that approved the GMOs. The downfall of modern human civilization is, as you probably guessed, also the downfall of the very idea that Big Government creates a better society. Because if there’s one idea that needs to stay dead after the collapse, it’s the idea that We the People somehow need another group of people (government workers) to live off our hard work while hounding us with their false authority, directing every little detail of our lives.

What we need in our world isn’t more government, but more freedom. If we had freedom, integrity and personal responsibility, we wouldn’t even be facing the global collapse that has already begun. But alas, the human race is an infant species and it must learn some lessons the hard way, it seems.

This lesson should be long remembered: If you let the corporations, the banks and the governments run your economies, your farms and your lives, they will enslave you and steal your future while you sleep; they will inject silent poisons into the very world around you until you awaken one day to find that all you created has been destroyed. They will promise you paradise but deliver only death. Beware of any entity that is not a living person — no government, no institution, no corporation has a soul, nor a heart, nor a conscience. They are forces of organized destruction that decimate those things we hold dear while delivering to us things that will only enslave us or harm us.

Beware the corporation; the government; the non-profit institution working as a front group for private industry. Never allow yourself to be ruled over by any institution which exists only as a fictional construct organized from the projection of human greed.

And be ready for the acceleration of the collapse. Because if you are reading this, you are the future of the human race. You have a duty to stay alive, keep your genes intact, and be around to help create the Next Society after this one crumbles into history.

(Healingtalks) Processed breakfast cereal companies have long carried out a deceptive campaign of labeling their products as supposedly “natural.” Consumers are thus misled by this term, believing it is free of chemicals and/or genetically engineered ingredients.

Cornucopia Investigation of Processed Breakfast Cereals

Cornucopia Institute (www.Cornucopia.org) conducted a study that revealed how the term “natural” was being misused and abused. This same group exposed the use of hexane solvents in soy protein. Their new study may send shock waves throughout the “natural” products industry by revealing that so-called “natural” foods contain high levels GMOs and toxic chemical pesticides.

Facts about GMOs

Before you view the Cornucopia’s test results below, three important facts are vital to know:

  •  Widespread GMO contamination in Cereals

Even “non-GMO” foods contain trace levels (between .01% and 0.5%) of contamination. Some “natural” items tested by the Cornucopia Institute showed between 28% and 100 % contamination – meaning the primary source ingredients are GMOs.

  • Various GMO Levels  

Foods that test for GMOs today may contain higher or lower levels at another time due to “you name it” – supply line errors, changes, contaminations, etc. Some manufacturers test for GMOs in every batch, but others take a “don’t ask don’t tell” approach.

  • “Enrolled” vs. “Verified”

Foods “enrolled” in the Non-Gmo Project are on their way to becoming GMO free but still contain some traces.
Purer Gmo-free products are called  “verified.”

One thing is certain. Most “natural” breakfast cereals contain surprisingly high levels of genetically engineered ingredients. This is why it’s so important to shop for certified organic breakfast cereals. A list of reliable companies is at the bottom of this article.

All these concerns about GMOs don’t cover toxic pesticides traces in the grains used to produce “natural” breakfast cereals. The Cornucopia report cites extensive USDA testing of “natural” grain ingredients contaminated with chemical pesticides. Synthetic pesticides are banned in organic production so organic is again the way to go if you wish to avoid pesticide residues.

Test results

The Cornucopia Institute’s “Cereal Scorecard” (http://www.cornucopia.org/2011/10/n…) reveals some truly astonishing facts about what’s in our breakfast cereal:

Kashi brand cereals (Kellogg’s) contains “high levels” of GMOs. A high level means the key ingredients are genetically engineered. 100% of the soy used in tested boxes of Kashi was genetically engineered soy. Non-organic grains used in Kashi cereals typically contain residues of all the following pesticides: phosmet, carbaryl, azinphos methyl, malathion, chlorpyrifos methyl, chlorpyrifos. (Note: This does not mean these Kashi cereals were tested for each of these chemicam but rather that they are typically in non-organic grains used in Kashi cereals).

Mother’s brand cereals (PepsiCo) contains “high levels” of GMOs. Test results revealed 28% of the corn to be genetically engineered.

Whole Foods’ 365 brand Corn Flakes contains “high levels” of GMOs (more than 50% GE corn). Barbara’s Bakery Puffins cereal was also shown to contain more than 50% genetically engineered corn. These two are “enrolled” in the Non-GMO Project.

Nature’s Path has are all certified organic cereals, contained no significant GMO contamination and are made with entirely non-GMO ingredients.

Kashi GoLean, Mother’s Bumpers, Nutritious Living Hi-Lo, and General Mills Kix  -“Natural” products contaminated with levels of GE ingredients, sometimes are at a 100%:.

Quaker Oats (a unit of PepsiCo) states that it is an “all-natural” product. But Quaker Oats  manages a plant that emits roughly 19,000 pounds of sulfuryl fluoride yearly. Sulfuryl fluoride is a toxic greenhouse gas used to treat crops like oats in storage.

“Natural” Peace Cereal Wild Berry Crisp is produced from conventional commodity ingredients containing the neurotoxin phosmet and the carcinogen captan in 11% and 55% of samples, respectively.

Mom’s Best Naturals Raisin Bran cereal contains “natural” (non-GMO) ingr9edients that are commonly contaminated with malathion and phosmet chemicals, both of which are neurotoxins.

Several Bear Naked and Kashi products contain conventional soy protein. Soy protein in this country is nearly all hexane-extracted. The “hexane bath” that the soybeans are immersed in consists of more than 50% n-hexane, which is a known neurotoxin.

(Healingtalks) In recent years, there’s been a crackdown on small dairies producing raw milk, designed as an obstacle to the growing legions of consumers demanding healthier and more flavorful milk. Raw milk has been deemed “unfit” for human consumption by the FDA and other government sting operations, and the public propagandized into fearing it. According to some fear-mongers, for example, raw milk causes rabies.

David Gumpert, author of popular blog The Complete Patient and forthcoming book Raw Milk Revolution: Behind America’s Emerging Battle Over Food Rights (Chelsea Green, Oct 2009), asks an important question: How much of the fear-mongering from the pro-pasteurization people is real, and how much is propaganda from Big Agribusiness? Gumpert says the anti-raw-milk campaign is just another governmental technique to sanitize the food supply—even in the face of ever-increasing rates of chronic disease like asthma, diabetes, and allergies.

Here are 10 things you should know about raw milk that the government won’t tell you:

  • Raw milk is healthier: Pasteurized milk is accused of causing everything from allergies to heart disease to cancer, but back in the day, these diseases were rare. In fact, clean raw milk from grass-fed cows is chock full of healthy amino acids and beneficial enzymes, and was used as a cure.
  • Raw milk does not make you sick: That is, if it is properly collected from cows fed good, clean grass. Grass-fed milk has natural antibiotic properties that help protect it from pathogenic bacteria. But it’s worth noting, if you’ve been using pasteurized dairy products, you might want to eat small amounts of yogurt or kefir for a week or so, for a dose of probiotics, just to be safe. I did, and it helped.
  • Not all raw milk is the same: The cow’s diet, how and where it’s raised, and how the milk is collected are all factors in the safety and quality of raw milk. Cows pastured on organic green grass produce milk with good health benefits. It’s good to know where your milk is coming from.
  • Pasteurization was instituted in the 1920s to combat TB, infant diarrhea, undulant fever and other diseases caused by poor animal nutrition and dirty production methods. But modern stainless steel tanks, milking machines, refrigerated trucks, and inspection are enough of a precaution, and pasteurization has become irrelevant.
  • Pasteurization destroys enzymes, diminishes vitamin content, kills beneficial bacteria, promotes pathogens and is associated with allergies, increased tooth decay, colic in infants, growth problems in children, osteoporosis, arthritis, heart disease and cancer.
  • Calves fed pasteurized milk don’t do very well, and many die before maturity. Scary, considering the milk originally came from their mom.
  • Raw milk sours naturally but pasteurized milk turns putrid; processors must remove slime and pus from pasteurized milk by a process called centrifugal clarification. Gross.
  • Inspection of dairy herds for disease is not required for pasteurized milk. This means, pasteurization is used as a nifty way to wash away all forms of bad bacteria that are allowed to flourish freely before the process. Imagine that for a second.
  • Raw milk has more butterfat, which is rich in fatty acids that protect against disease and stimulate the immune system. Skim milk doesn’t necessarily mean it’s better for you, in other words.
  • Pasteurization laws favor large, industrialized dairy operations and push out small farmers. When farmers have the right to sell raw milk directly to their consumers, they can make a decent living even with a small number of cows. Support small farmers!

No Such Thing As Coexistence With GMOs

Living in Monsanto Nation there can be no such thing as “coexistence.”

Given the near-dictatorial control of Monsanto, the Farm Bureau, and the Grocery Manufacturers Association over the Congress, the White House, regulatory agencies, and state legislators, we have no choice in the present moment but to revert to “asymmetrical” guerrilla tactics, to seek out the Achilles heel or fundamental weakness of the biotech industry.

Consumers Right to Know: Monsanto’s Achilles Heel

The Achilles heel of Monsanto and the biotech industry is consumers’ right to know. If GE-tainted foods are labeled in supermarkets and natural food stores, a massive rejection of chemical and GMO foods will take place, transforming the marketplace and supercharging the organic and local foods revolution. The biotech industry has been aware of their tremendous vulnerability in the United States ever since Monsanto forced their controversial recombinant Bovine Growth Hormone on the market in February 1994. In the wake of nationwide “Frankenfood” protests and milk dumps, industry made sure that no federal labeling or safety testing would be required. As the biotechnocrats understand full well, mandatory GE food labels will cripple the industry: consumers will not buy gene-altered foods, farmers will not plant them, restaurants and food processors will avoid them, and grocery stores will not sell them. How can we be certain about this? By looking at the experience of the European Union, the largest agricultural market in the world. In the EU there are almost no genetically engineered crops under cultivation or GE consumer food products on supermarket shelves. And why is this? Not because GE crops are automatically banned in Europe. But rather because under EU law, all foods containing genetically engineered ingredients must be labeled.

European consumers have the freedom to choose or not to choose GE foods; while farmers, food processors, and retailers have (at least legally) the right to lace foods with GMOs, as long as these gene-altered are safety-tested and labeled. Of course the EU food industry understands that consumers, for the most part, do not want to consume GE foods. European farmers and food companies, even junk food purveyors like McDonald’s and Wal-Mart, understand quite well the concept expressed by the Monsanto executive quoted above: “If you put a label on genetically engineered food you might as well put a skull and crossbones on it.”

The biotech and food industry are acutely conscious of the fact that North American consumers, like their European counterparts, are wary and suspicious of GMO foods. Even without a PhD, consumers understand you don’t want your food safety or environmental sustainability decisions to be made by out-of-control chemical companies like Monsanto, Dow, or DuPont–the same people who brought you toxic pesticides and industrial chemicals, Agent Orange, carcinogenic food additives, PCBs, and now global warming. Industry leaders are definitely aware of the fact that every poll over the last 20 years has shown that 85-95% of American consumers want mandatory labels on genetically engineered foods. Why do consumers want labels? So that we can avoid buying these mutant foods, gene-spliced with viruses, bacteria, antibiotic- resistant marker genes and foreign DNA. Gene-altered foods have absolutely no benefits for consumers or the environment, only hazards. This is why Monsanto and their friends in the Clinton, Bush, and Obama administrations have prevented consumer GMO truth-in-labeling laws from ever getting a public discussion, much less coming to a vote, in Congress.

Congressional Legislation Will Not Rescue Us

Although Congressman Dennis Kucinich (Democrat, Ohio) perennially introduces a bill in Congress calling for mandatory labeling and safety testing for GE foods, don’t hold your breath for Congress to take a stand for truth-in-labeling. Especially since the 2010 Supreme Court decision in the so-called “Citizens United” case gave big corporations, millionaires, and billionaires the right to spend unlimited amounts of money (and remain anonymous, as they do so) to buy media coverage and elections, our chances of passing federal GMO labeling laws against the wishes of Monsanto and Food Inc. are all but non-existent.

Perfectly dramatizing the “Revolving Door” between Monsanto and the Federal Government, Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, formerly chief counsel for Monsanto, delivered one of the decisive votes in the Citizens United case, in effect giving Monsanto and other biotech bullies the right to buy the votes it needs in the U.S. Congress.

With biotech and industrial agriculture’s big money controlling Congress, the White House, and the corporate mass media, we have little choice but to shift our focus and our campaigning to more favorable terrain: the state level and the marketplace.

Besides boycotting non-organic foods likely containing GMOs (even those marketed as “natural”) and demanding that natural food stores adopt truth-in-labeling practices, we’ve got to push for mandatory GE food labeling laws in the legislatures of those few remaining states like Vermont where Monsanto and corporate agribusiness do not yet have total control. Of the 18 states where GE food labeling legislation has been introduced over the past two years, only in Vermont does our side seem to have the votes to push labeling through, as well as a Governor who will not cave in to Monsanto.

State Ballot Initiatives: Monsanto and Biotech’s Greatest Weakness

Although passing a mandatory GE foods labeling law in Vermont is a distinct possibility, and something we should all support, the most promising strategy for restoring consumers’ right to know lies in utilizing one of the most important remaining tools of direct citizen democracy, state ballot initiatives. A state ballot initiative is a means by which a petition signed by a certain minimum number of registered voters can bring about a public vote on a proposed statute or constitutional amendment, in our case a law requiring mandatory labeling of genetically engineered foods. Ballot initiatives are also called, depending on the state, “popular initiatives,” “voter initiatives,” “citizen initiatives” or just “initiatives.”
Twenty-four states, mainly west of the Mississippi, allow ballot initiatives. Each state has its own requirements for how many signatures are required, how many days can be spent collecting the signatures, and when petitions must be turned in. States also vary on the average amount of money spent by initiative committees to support or oppose ballot measures. http://www.organicconsumers.org/art…

The essential advantage of state ballot initiatives is that they enable the grassroots (in our case the 85-95% of consumers who want labels on GE-tainted foods) to bypass corrupt politicians, industry lobbyists, and special interest legislative practices. In addition, the very strategic point to keep in mind is that it will not be necessary to pass GMO labeling ballot initiatives in all 24 of these states. In fact passage in just one large state, for example California, where there is tremendous opposition to GE foods as well as a multi-billion dollar organic food industry, will likely have the same impact as a national labeling law.

If Vermont passes a state labeling law though its legislature in 2011, or California voters put a GMO labeling initiative on the ballot in 2012 and pass it, the biotech and food industry will face an intractable dilemma. Will they dare put labels on their branded food products in just one or two states, admitting these products contain genetically engineered ingredients, while still withholding label information in the other states? The answer is very likely no. Withholding important and controversial information in some states, while providing it to consumers in other states, would be a public relations disaster.

A clear precedent for this situation was established in California in 1986 when voters passed, over the strenuous opposition of industry, a ballot initiative called Proposition 65, which required consumer products with potential cancer-causing ingredient to bear warning labels. Rather than label their products sold in California as likely carcinogenic, most companies reformulated their product ingredients so as to avoid warning labels altogether, and they did this on a national scale, not just in California.

This same scenario will likely unfold if California voters pass a ballot initiative in 2012 requiring labels on food containing genetically engineered ingredients. Can you imagine Kellogg’s selling Corn Flakes breakfast cereal in California with a label that admits it contains genetically engineered corn? Or labeling their corn flakes as GE in California, but not divulging this same fact to consumers in the other 49 states or Canada? Of course not. How about Kraft Boca Burgers admitting that their soybean ingredients are genetically modified? How about the entire non-organic food industry (including many so-called “natural” brands) admitting that 75% of their products are GE-tainted? Once food manufacturers and supermarkets are forced to come clean and label genetically engineered products, they will likely remove all GE ingredients, to avoid the “skull and crossbones” effect, just like the food industry in the EU has done. In the wake of this development American farmers will convert millions of acres of GE crops to non-GMO or organic varieties.

The biotechnocrats and their allies have indeed used their vast resources to buy off Congress, the White House, and most state legislatures with campaign contributions. Monsanto, DuPont, and other corporate giants have used their enormous clout to send their lawyers and scientists through the revolving door into jobs as government regulators. Biotech’s financial power has polluted state and federal governments, along with trade associations, universities, research institutions, philanthropic organizations, and media outlets.

But there are two things Monsanto’s money can’t buy: Our trust, and our votes.

Polls Show Consumers Overwhelmingly Support GE Food Labels

Poll after poll has shown that most consumers want to know whether their food includes engineered ingredients.

The results of a recent MSNBC poll that posed the question, “Do you believe genetically modified foods should be labeled?” indicate that nearly all Americans believe that foods made with genetically modified organisms should indeed be labeled.

Of the more than 45,000 people who participated in the poll, over 96% answered “Yes. It’s an ethical issue — consumers should be informed so they can make a choice.”

It’s not news that most Americans support labeling of GMO foods. Since genetically modified foods were first introduced in mid-1990s, scores of public opinion polls have shown that the vast majority of consumers want mandatory labeling of all genetically modified foods. These include recent polls by CBS News/New York Times, NPR/Thomson Reuters and the Consumers Union. Unfortunately Congress and the White House have ignored these polls, accepting instead the claims of lobbyists and indentured scientists that genetically engineered foods are perfectly safe, and that uninformed and scientifically illiterate Americans must not be given the choice to buy or not to not GMOs, because they will reject them.

Monsanto spent more than $1 million on the 2010 election cycle, splitting its contributions evenly between state and federal candidates. It spends much more on lobbying — more than $8 million in each of the last three years. Monsanto’s money has bought it influence and allowed it to move its lawyers and scientists through the revolving door into roles within the regulatory agencies. The USDA, FDA and State Department are full of appointees with connections to Monsanto. Monsanto’s efforts have successfully stifled attempts in Congress and state legislatures to pass GMO labeling legislation.

The Slingshot that Can Bring Down Monsanto the Goliath

The most important advantage or weapon in a ballot initiative (or in a grassroots legislative lobbying campaign) is to have the overwhelming support of the people, especially registered voters. As poll after poll has shown, 85-95% of Americans support mandatory GE food labels. No matter how much money Monsanto and their allies spend to defeat a ballot initiative, it is very difficult to turn back overwhelming public sentiment. Monsanto has become one of the most hated corporations on earth.

The second requirement for a successful ballot initiative is to have the active support of a massive grassroots movement, like the growing anti-GE food movement and OCA’s Millions Against Monsanto campaign. This grassroots movement can gather petition signatures, mobilize public opinion, and get out the vote. No matter how much money Monsanto and their allies spend, it will be very difficult to defeat a volunteer grassroots army of organic consumers who enjoy the massive support of the public.

The third prerequisite for victory is to have the ability to raise significant sums of money. Not only do we have millions of organic consumers in the U.S. who are passionately opposed to GMOs, and willing to donate to a labeling campaign, but we also have a rapidly growing $30 billion organic food industry that depends upon keeping GMO contamination out of the organic sector. We probably won’t be able to raise enough money to outspend Monsanto, the Farm Bureau, and the Grocery Manufacturers Association, but we can raise enough money to defend our popular position and maintain majority support.

Just like everything in U.S. politics, ballot initiatives have a price tag.
According to the Ballot Initiative Strategy Center:

* “The chances of victory are directly correlated with the amount of money raised and are almost always proportional to the amount of money the opposition spends.”

* “People power is equally important to factor in. Particularly for Citizen-based ballot initiative efforts, it is imperative to have people on the ground across the state that are connected and invested in the initiative.”

Biotechnology or BioDemocracy

Restoring consumers’ right to know and driving genetically engineered foods off supermarket shelves are not going to solve all of the life and death issues that are currently staring us in the face: the climate crisis, endless wars, economic depression, corporate control over government, and the health crisis. But cutting Monsanto and the biotechnocrats down to size and restoring consumer choice are a good first step to move us toward sustainability and a healthy food and farming system. Just as important, in political terms, by defeating the Biotech Bullies and indentured politicians we can begin to restore the tattered self-confidence of the American body politic. A resounding victory by the organic community and OCA’s Millions Against Monsanto campaign will prove to ourselves and the currently demoralized public that we can indeed take back control over the institutions and public policies that determine our daily lives. (Healingtalks) Consumers increasingly must take the lead in avoiding GMOs, or genetically modified organisms because our government is not doing the job, rather the bidding for large corporate interests.

These GMOs have been quietly introduced into our food stream on the promise of increasing food yields and creating super foods that would resist pests and offer many other benefits. Mounting evidence, contrary to what the FDA and food industry claims, shows that GM foods are not safe and harbor many hazards. Thus there are critical steps a consumer can take to avoid consuming such GMO foods.

Prevalence of GMO Foods

Currently 70% or more of food in the US are genetically modified. Children`s foods are the number one GMO containing products.

Many processed foods contain 90-100% GM ingredients. Most all non-organic breads and other baked goods contain GM ingredients. Most non-organic chocolate, sweets, candy, gum, etc. contain GM ingredients. Most non-organically raised animal (meat, dairy, eggs) products contain GM ingredients. These animals are typically fed a diet that is 90+ percent GMO. Most non-organic beverages (beer, wine, soft drinks, juices) contain GM ingredients.

Warnings About GMO Foods

In May of 2009, The American Academy of Environmental Medicine (AAEM) sent out a press release that called for an immediate moratorium on GM foods. They asked physicians to educate their patients and provide educational material about the health risks associated with GM foods. They proposed that physicians consider the role of GM foods in their patients` disease processes.

In their position paper, the AAEM sites several animal studies that indicate extreme health risks associated with GM foods. Some of the health risks include infertility, immune dysfunction, allergic reactions, accelerated aging, insulin dysregulation, organ malfunction and digestive dysfunction. AAEM further warned consumers:

There is more than a casual association between GM foods and adverse health effects. There is causation, as defined by recognized scientific criteria. The strength of association and consistency between GM foods and disease is confirmed in several animal studies.”

The Rawesome Foods raid that took place August 3, 2011, is being publicly described by many as an act of “government terrorism” against innocents. (Healingtalks) The life force in our foods is best carried in the fluids of living plants and animals, including in  our own bloodstream. This is because at the root foundation of life is “consciousness” – the universal relationship of connection” which also makes living nature ultimately One. The opposite of connection is separation. Only in fluids do separate drops of liquid connect optimally connected as One. This is why fluids physically display how consciousness, at the root of life, works. It  is via liquids, from living sources, the life is best carried into and throughout our bodies. Gross Naivete of Pasteur

Louis Pasteur may have had something else in mind when he came up with the process of pasteurization back in the 1880′s (said to be created for purposes of preventing sickness from consumption of milk and wine).

But today, past all the government and industry lies and deceptions, the process of pasteurization is solely for killing the life force (enzymes) in a living food.

Killing Our Foods Living Enzymes

Nature puts enzymes in all raw and living foods, including milk. Certain enzymes are responsible for causing the food to naturally spoil or go bad. This is why you see fruit naturally fall from a tree in Nature when unpicked. The fruit will automatically spoil, shrivel up, and fall to the Earth and biodegrade.

Raw milk will naturally spoil after a few days. So will orange juice. So how do companies get milk and orange juice and other beverages to remain unspoiled in caskets (cans, jars, boxes, etc.) for periods of weeks and months at a time?

Again, pasteurization!

Pasteurizing the food (or beverage) kills the enzymes, including those that cause spoiling. Then, so that the food won’t spoil, preservatives are added to preserve the shelf life of the so-called food. Now the food (beverage) can sit on a supercasket, oops, I mean ‘supermarket,’ shelf for a few weeks if necessary and no one has to worry about the product spoiling.

The simple fact that preservatives are added to certain foods and beverages should let us know that the thing that contains preservatives and that we are about to consume, is DEAD! After all, you only preserve that which is dead, right? Of course? You don’t have to preserve that which is alive. Dead human bodies are preserved with embalming fluid (formaldehyde) to keep them from spoiling (rotting, decaying) before the funeral. Well, when you add preservatives to food and beverages, you’re basically embalming the thing (food) because it too is dead. Only dead things are embalmed (preserved).

Now you know that that pasteurized milk (liquidized cow snot and pus) and fruit juice (i.e. orange juice, apple juice) in your fridge is not pasteurized to kill bacteria, but to keep it in a casket (carton) for a few weeks for purposes of profit.

Truth About Flash Pasteurized

That ‘flash pasteurized’ orange juice or apple juice is flash pasteurized to keep the dead juice in the casket (jar or carton) for a few weeks as well.

Flash pasteurized is nothing but a fancy name that still implies the thing has been heated up to kill enzymes or enzymatic activity in it. Pasteurization has to be at least 145 degrees to be effective but living foods are killed at temperatures beyond 118 degrees, so 145 degrees clearly kills all life in a natural food, be it fruit, vegetables, or animal milk (which humans really should not be drinking by the way).

Truth About UHT – Ultra High Temperature Milk

And what about UHT (ultra-high-temperature) milk?

This stuff is completely DEAD!

UHT milk is sold off the shelf at room temperature. However, UHT milk is ultra-pasteurized at 280 degrees. Now you know anything processed with this much heat is really dead. This is why UHT milk will keep up to six months unrefrigerated.

Like I tell people: consumption of processed foods will most certainly process you in the process of unwisely consuming them, at least in the long run.

To process means ‘to change’ and you will most certainly change (for the worse) from consuming all this processed so-called food (and beverage) out here today.

Pasteurization Equals Dead Products

Pasteurization is a code word for ‘dead products.’

Don’t be fooled by such terms (usually serving as suffixes) such as ‘ultra’ and ‘flash.’ If the word ‘pasteurization’ follows these terms, it still denotes pasteurization has taken place, and thus the killing of the thing food has also taken place.

Ultra simply means ‘high high’ and ‘flash’ means ‘quickly processed.”

Remember people in the United States are controlled with and by words. Americans are a word-controlled people and this is the major reason why Americans are kept dumb downed, functioning mentally on a 2nd grade level as far as reading, comprehension, and communicating. If you can’t read, then you can’t decipher and understand the words being used to control you.

Pasteurization is a word used in order to deceptively carry the prestige of a famous scientist, and thus the prestige and authority of science as such. But actually pasteurization equals dead foods that harm.

Evidence in Health Pandemics

Living in a dairy farming region I know this first hand. Dead products equal health pandemics. This primarily occurs with the drinking of pasteurized milk.  Altogether about 50 million Americans alone suffer from arthritis according to the CDC - the very corrupt organization involved in trying to ban raw milk.
  • Osteoporosis – The same applies to osteoporosis, as brought out by a report of Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine.  As our bones die, so also do our arteries fed with dead liquids rather than living food.  In the US, over 12 million people over the age of 50 have osteoporosis, and about 200 million around the globe suffer from this illness – according to the International Osteoporosis Foundation.

First they came after the raw milk producers

(Healingtalks) Back in April of 2010 the FDA conducted an armed pre-dawn raid on a gentle Amish farmer selling his raw milk from a couple dozen cows and to a few faithful customers. This, and dozens of similar incidences, have set the stage for a more recent and second armed raid of Rawesome Foods in Venice California where, for the first time, the  government upped the ante. Not only did the FDA, in a joint raid with other corrupt government agencies,  thwart the sale of raw milk and confiscate the proprietors’ inventory and cash, they now want to criminalize the sale of raw milk with multiple pending felony charges – and in a state where raw milk is legal to sell!

This is a critical turning point in the whole establishment of a food police state, sending a very frightening, chilling message to all other raw milk farms, distributors and retailers in our entire nation and all along our food chain supply channels.

All the while the government is becoming ever more militant in its campaign and armed raids on small local farmers. According to Gary Cox of the Farm-To-Consumer Legal Defense Fund: “I’ve seen numerous search warrants being carried out; I’ve even seen it where a SWAT team would come into a family’s home in Northern Ohio and hold the family including the children at gunpoint for six hours while the agents searched the home for food,” says Gary.

The incident with the gentle Amish farmer in Pennsylvania, and actually dozens of others, have long set the stage for the creation of a heinous “food police state” and this has been brewing  for over two decades – at least since the FDA regulatory ban of raw milk interstate sales in the late 1980′s

Every reader should be informed, alerted and rightly alarmed that this  process is now accelerating.

The sample Amish incident, preceded by a year and a half sting operation, ended in a lawsuit  in 2011 attempting to prevent the Amish farmer from selling his raw milk to his small faithful cadre of customers across state lines.

PA Undercover Raw Milk Sting

The agency began its investigation of Mr. Daniel Allgyer’s farm (Rainbow Acres Farm in  Kinzers, PA) in  2009. This was when an undercover FDA agent in Baltimore  placed an order under an assumed name to sign up for the Yahoo user group tied to Allgyer’s Rainbow Acres.

His milk orders went to a residence in Maryland where the milk could be picked up.

By crossing state lines the milk became part of “interstate commerce” and thus presumably subject to the FDA’s regulatory ban on the sales of raw milk. The court papers noted that the jugs of milk were not labeled – forming a second violation of FDA regulations. FDA investigators then came to the farm in February 2010, when Mr. Allgyer turned them away from his farm.

The armed encounter and harassment was documented by Ellen Marie, also privately interviewing the Allgyer’s family about the trespassing involved.  She reported that other dairy farms and their families in the area had similarly been subjected to FDA intimidation. In April the FDA sent a warning letter from the Philadelphia district, signed by Kirk Sooter, the director, telling Allgyer to essentially cease and desist or they might face an injunction as well as the seizure of his property.  This warning letter can be found on the FDA website.

How FDA Got Such Orwellian/Nazi Police State Powers

The FDA now has immensely expanded new powers due to the so-called Food Safety and Modernization Act approved by Congress last year and signed by President Obama in January, 2011.

Starting July 3, 2011 the agency gained the ability to confiscate any food at any farm that it deems s0-called “unsafe or mislabeled.”

This is what has tipped the scale for far more aggressive and unconstitutional FDA actions – in the spirit of Bush’s Patriot Act. It essentially treats farmers in the same way terrorists might be treated in the Patriot Act, and with no rights at detention centers across the world.

The Saga Continues

FDA agents thus returned in April of 2010 to Allgyer’s farm with a warrant  submitted by Joshua Schafer, the FDA investigator) and then U.S. marshals and a state police trooper made a pre-dawn raw milk raid (at 5 am) but which the FDA called a “lawful inspection.”

The FDA claimed they spotted coolers labeled with Maryland town names, and with dairy products. The inspection again led to a letter dated 04/20/2010 from FDA informing Mr. Allgyer that he had to stop selling across state lines.

Mr, Allgyer instead formed a private club where members could be shareholders in the farm’s produce, paying only for the farmer’s labor. This was to avoid the FDA’s regulation of “commerce.” The FDA investigators continued to take shipments and in April of 2011 week filed suit in Federal Court to stop Allgyer’s sale of raw milk.

Allgyer has refused official media requests for interviews and is said to be reluctant even to hire a lawyer to defend himself – all out of a religious belief in nonviolence.

Latest Development

The FDA this year filed for a legal  injunction against Allgyer and accused him of “contributing to the introduction, transmission, or spread of communicable diseases” at his farm where he tends just three dozen cows and sells their raw milk to a very small buyers’ club in the Maryland suburbs of Washington, D.C.

For decades there has never been any real evidence whatsoever that raw-milk forms a health hazard.

Not an Isolated Incidence and Prelude to Criminalizing

There is a list available on the Web of 20 small farms and enterprises, especially dairy farms and their  distributors,  who have been raided by federal agents since 2004 and in eight different states in US.  This includes a previous gunpoint raid on Rawesome Foods in 2010. likewise confiscating their property. The list also gives ample details of many other unconstitutional, horrific and intimidating actions of the FDA.

Interestingly the initial seller of raw milk on that list is Organic Pastures Dairy, raided in the spring of 2004. At the time the agents even illegally went through customer files and photographed them.

Organic pastures is no small operation to be targeted. In fact, it is the largest dairy operation subject to FDA intimidation. Mark McAfee, owner of Organic Pastures Dairy in Fresno, sells raw milk to 50,000 customers a week and through 400 stores in the Bay Area and the rest of the state. He endured a long undercover investigation. All the while  “they refuse to acknowledge raw milk can be done in a safe manner,” McAfee stated. “The state of California is very effectively doing that… There is no recorded evidence anywhere, any place – the Centers for Disease Control, the Food and Drug Administration, anybody – that shows anybody has ever died from raw milk in California.”

What’s Really Behind the Raw Milk Suppression – $$$

Despite raw milk’s tiny market share, McAfee (owner of Organic Pastures Dairies) stated that  milk processors are behind efforts to ban raw milk because they see the product as a competitive threat. He said demand for pasteurized milk is falling about 1 percent a year, and farmers can earn as much as 10 times more for raw milk than they do selling to processors. The processors then denature the milk via pasteurization and in order to extend shelf-life. They don’t want the public to know they are denaturing the milk to create an inferior product because it would be a death-knoll and financial disaster.

Furthermore when milk is in the raw state, not all the milk is the same, pooled from different farms. Some of the milk will lose its fresh taste more quickly than others – sometimes in as little as a week. Unlike eggs, meat and fish, dairy milk can’t be refrigerated or frozen for months without adulterating its taste. Without pasteurization of pooled milk, there is a loss of control of shelf-life.  This equates to a loss of control of the market as such.

Pasteurization is critically necessary and must be justified at all costs, and through all possible info-wars or mind-deceits of the public – even if it means fabricating health scares or all kinds of fear-mongering about raw milk… all of which is scientifically indefensible. The very survival of large dairies depends on maintaining this consumer infowar deceit.  Thus they solicit corrupt government and scientific support.

A careful study of pasteurization shows it truly denatures the milk.

It makes milk significantly deficient. Pasteurized dairy consumption leads to long-term arteriosclerosis, osteoporosis and arthritis, all of which are among the most common diseases in aging dairy farmers who drink pasteurized milk for decades. Among farming populations, dairy farmers have the highest rates of arthritis.

There is also short-term allergenic or lactose-intolerance reactions to pasteurized milk. This is because the pasteurized milk simply becomes heat-harmed and dead food. Our bodies require living foods for optimal health. Like chemically-preserved staples deadened to increase shelf-life, the end result is the true health-hazard at the altar of making more money.

If the public knew all of this, it would fatally threaten billions of dollars of conventional dairy sales. These are maintained only via this huge market deceptions. In the meantime, illnesses like arteriosclerosis, osteoporosis and arthritis are pandemic. Statistics show these three ailments affect literally hundreds of millions of people over the age of 50, which then helps allopathic medical and pharmaceutical industries thrive.

Dairy Industry’s Thrust Toward Total Market Control

“The fluid milk markets are already dying on the vine because people can’t digest , it’s too allergenic and it’s got lactose intolerance,” McAfee continued by saying “Raw milk is an out-of-control milk. It’s by the farmer directly to the consumer, so all the dairy industry people are upset that they are losing control of the market.”

Reactions to the Raw Milk Sting

Coming back to our example of the Pennsylvania-Amish dairy sting operation by the FDA, one of the customers, Liz Reitzig, president of the Maryland Independent Consumers and Farmers Association, said she started looking into raw milk because her oldest daughter showed signs of not tolerating pasteurized milk. Thus she sought out what they call  “cow sharing” or where a group of people buy shares in owning a cow, and pay a farmer to board and milk the cow.

But Maryland outlawed that practice and so she turned to Mr. Allgyer’s farm.

“We like the way they farm, we love their product, it’s super-high-quality, they’re wonderful. It’s just a wonderful arrangement,” she said. ” The FDA really has no idea what they’re talking about when they’re talking about fresh milk. They have no concept – they really don’t understand what it’s like for people like me who have friends and family who can’t drink conventional milk,” Ms. Reitzig said.

Other customers were likewise furious, especially those from the District of Columbia and Maryland.

“I look at this as the FDA is in cahoots with the large milk producers,” said Karin Edgett, a D.C. resident who buys directly from Rainbow Acres. “I don’t want the FDA and my tax dollars to go to shut down a farm that hasn’t had any complaints against it. They’re producing good food, and the consumers are extremely happy with it.”

Former Sen. Fred Thompson,Tennessee Republican, took to Twitter to blast the raid, calling it a waste of time and resources and mockingly saying the FDA would do better to shut down “unlicensed lemonade stands” at gunpoint around the country.

Author David Gumpert, writing for the website Grist, wondered whether those who took part in the raid felt “remorse or shame” in an “official effort to deprive people of food.”

On May 11, Rep. Ron Paul, Texas Republican, introduced H.R. 1830, the Unpasteurized Milk Bill, which would end the FDA’s ban and permit the sale of raw milk across state lines. This would reverse the mandate given in 1987 FDA regulation to ban interstate commerce in raw milk.

Pete Kennedy, president of the Farm-to-Consumer Legal Defense Fund, said undercover stings are a matter of course. “It happens quite a bit. It’s almost like they treat raw milk as crack. It happened in a number of states, and at the federal level,” he said. His organization has now sued to try to halt FDA enforcement, and the case is pending in federal court in Iowa.

The risk of contracting an illness from contaminated raw milk is ridiculously tiny, particularly when you consider the amount of resources the federal government is pouring into undercover investigations of raw milk farmers, raids of buying clubs and co-ops, and creating an anti raw milk campaign.

For years, we’ve known exactly how many people in the U.S. get sick from drinking raw milk (an average of 42 per year). What’s been missing is the baseline — the number of raw milk drinkers in the U.S.

Government Data Supporting Raw Milk’s Safety

In 2007, the CDC conducted a survey to determine the number of raw milk drinkers.

To summarize the results, a recent press release by the Weston A. Price Foundation stated:

“At last we have access to the numbers we need to determine the risk of consuming raw milk on a per-person basis,” says Sally Fallon Morell, president of the Weston A. Price Foundation, a non-profit nutrition education foundation that provides information on the health benefits of raw, whole milk from pastured cows.

The key figure that permits a calculation of raw milk illnesses on a per-person basis comes from a 2007 Centers for Disease Control (CDC) FoodNet survey, which found that 3.04 percent of the population consumes raw milk, about 9.4 million people, based on the 2010 census. This number may in fact be larger in 2011 as raw milk is growing in popularity. For example, sales of raw milk increased 25 percent in California in 2010, while sales of pasteurized milk declined 3 percent.

Rarer than Rare Raw Milk-Tied Ailments

In addition, Dr. Beals has compiled published reports of illness attributed to raw milk from 1999 to 2010. During the eleven-year period, illnesses attributed to raw milk averaged 42 per year.

“Using government figures for foodborne illness for the entire population, Dr. Beals has shown that you are about thirty-five thousand times more likely to get sick from other foods than you are from raw milk,” says Fallon Morell. “And with good management practices in small grass-based dairies offering fresh unprocessed whole milk for direct human consumption, we may be able to reduce the risk even further.”

“It is irresponsible for senior national government officials to oppose raw milk, claiming that it is inherently hazardous,” says Dr. Beals. “There is no justification for opposing the sale of raw milk or warning against its inclusion in the diets of children and adults.”

FDA’s Hidden Agenda and Distortions

According to Pete Kennedy, president of the Farm-to-Consumer Legal Defense Fund, “Where raw milk is concerned, the FDA has an agenda that is not about protecting the public health. They want to restrict and discourage the sale of unprocessed dairy products. This will have the effect of denying freedom of choice.”  In short, there are economic to support large corporate dairy operations tied to GMO feeding lots, and which has nothing to do with real health reasons.

“Every time there is a possible connection between illness and raw milk, government officials issue dire press releases and call for bans on raw milk sales,” says Fallon Morell. “However, these numbers fail to justify the government opposition and prove what we’ve known all along, that raw milk is a safe and healthy food.”

Raw Milk Is Actually Super Safe and Healthier

Raw milk is not just SAFE but SAFER. Put cows out to pasture. Let them eat rapidly growing green grasses. Keep milking facilities well-cleaned and sanitized. Use modern refrigeration and stainless steel holding tanks. Keep milk cold while transporting it. If you choose to drink raw milk, only drink this “good stuff.”

Don’t drink raw milk that’s been intended for pasteurization (this usually comes from confinement dairies, and isn’t particularly healthful or clean.) Why is milk then pasteurized? Perhaps to protect the interests of large non-organic corporate dairies have pus-filled milk that need to be neutralized as well as stored for long periods of time or while in transit for thousands of miles. According to Wikipedia, pasteurization is the main means to extend shelf-life. The bottom-line then is greater profits and not the health of consumers. Usually chemicals denature and devitalize food to create longer shelf-life. With milk, just high-heat is enough.

The only important missing ingredient is to convince consumers to buy this devitalized food so that the Corporate dairies continue to make higher profit margins.

Local organic dairies don’t so need to so deaden their food as the food is delivered virtually “straight from the cow, goat or sheep.”  The profit motive can then take a second place to providing what is honestly healthiest for their customers.

How Best To Deceive the Public

So what’s the absolute best way to maintain the fraud perpetrated by large dairies onto their consumers that milk needs to be pasteurized to be safe.

Convince the public that raw milk is dangerous!

Above is an actual picture of an LA policeman raiding Rawsome at gunpoint, among many others, and prior to confiscating $70,000 worth of organic, raw, wholesome food and handcuffing and arresting the proprietors without even reading them their rights.

Protesters outside the Los Angeles Courthouse on Thursday denounced the police’s moves against Rawesome, which offers especially raw milk products. Thanks to the FDA, the  proprietors face multiple felony charges for selling the healthiest on the planet!

Raw food enthusiasts fit right in here, in the earthy, health-conscious beach communities of Venice and Santa Monica, along with the farmers’ markets, health food stores and vegan restaurants.

But this week, the police cleared the shelves of Rawesome, an establishment in Venice Beach, loading $70,000 of raw, organic produce and dairy products on the back of a flatbed truck.

And then, on Thursday, James Stewart, the proprietor, was arraigned on charges of illegally making, improperly labeling and illegally selling raw milk products, as well as other charges related to Rawesome’s operations. Two farmers who work with Rawesome were also named in the district attorney’s complaint.

Though it is legal to sell unpasteurized milk products in California, Rawesome, which has operated in Venice for more than six years, never obtained a license to do so — or, indeed, any type of business license.

Lela Buttery, a trustee at Rawesome, said it had no license because it was not a store. Instead, she called it a “club.” Club members paid an annual fee, which allowed them to peruse the produce, milk products and honey on Rawesome’s shelves, which they paid for — $7 for a pint of raw goat’s milk — to cover the cost of production. Members also signed waivers to signal they understood the risks of consuming raw food.

Rawesome is staffed by volunteers, who take home food for their efforts, and no one, Ms. Buttery said, is making money from his or her work there.

The raid on Rawesome has riled people here who say that unpasteurized milk is safer and healthier. About 150 raw food advocates gathered at the Los Angeles County Courthouse on Thursday to oppose the crackdown.

“It’s our right to choose what we want to put in our bodies,” Ms. Buttery said. “When members filled out an application, they were saying they wanted natural bacteria in their systems. We don’t want labeling. We don’t want animals full of antibiotics.”

Siobhan DeLancey, a spokeswoman for the federal Food and Drug Administration, which participated in the investigation of Rawesome, said the administration banned the interstate sale of raw milk products because they could be dangerous for those with compromised immune systems.

“Our biggest concern is really with children, because pathogens that can be in raw milk can be extremely dangerous for the classically at-risk,” she said. “We’ve seen people wind up as paraplegics.”

But raw food enthusiasts are convinced of raw milk’s healthfulness — and still have plenty of options around here.

“I drink it all the time,” said Laura Avery, who runs a farmers’ market in Santa Monica where raw milk products are sold. “I believe it’s a safer product.”

Multi-agency armed raid hits Rawesome Foods, Healthy Family Farms for selling raw milk and cheese

A multi-agency SWAT-style armed raid was conducted this morning by helmet-wearing, gun-carrying enforcement agents from the LA County Sheriff’s Office, the FDA, the Dept. of Agriculture and the CDC (Centers for Disease Control). Rawesome Foods, a private buying club offering wholesome, natural raw milk and raw cheese products (among other wholesome foods) is founded by James Stewart, a pioneer in bringing wholesome raw foods directly to consumers through a buying club. James was followed from his private residence by law enforcement, and when he entered his store, the raid was launched.

Law enforcement demanded that all customers (members) of the store vacate the premises, then they demanded to know how much cash James had at the store. When James explained the amount of cash he had at the store — which is used to purchase product for selling there — agents demanded to know why he had such an amount of cash and where it came from.

James was handcuffed, was never read his rights and was stuffed into an unmarked car. While agents said they would leave behind a warrant, no one has yet had any opportunity to even see if such a warrant exists or if it is a complete warrant.

James is now being held at the Pacific division police department at Centinela and Culver in Los Angeles. He is being held at $123,000 bail with no possibility of using bail bonds. Law enforcement has demanded that if he comes up with the money to cover bail, he must disclose to them all the sources of that money. (This is an illegal demand!)
