First Try Snacking on Healthy Food
Snacking can be a great addition to a daily routine as long as it includes healthy foods. Nuts, fruits, dried fruits, trail mixes are some of the options. Try some raw low sugar fruits. Experiment. It is the highly processed, fried and deadened foods that stick to the bones.
Next Eat a Light Breakfast
Here are a few things you can do in mornings:
- Drink a full glass of water, early in the morning will help flush out your kidneys.
- Take a tablespoon of flax seed oil or olive oil taken with a cutup grapefruit or a citric drink . This will help clear the liver and stimulate your brain to get started for the day. The grapefruit is both low on sugar and high on vitamin C and will can get your gut and bowels stimulated early in the morning.
- If you need something heartier, try scrambled tofu, and skip the potatoes and bagel. If you are used to eating bread, try just a thin slice. The healthiest is a sprouted bread you can find in a health food store.
- Try a smoothie in the morning, with the healthiest mix of green veggies and others, plus a little fruit to give it a better taste.
Occasionally Give In to Temptation
This will help you avoid constantly feeling deprived until you end up binging. It is better to have a little now and then to take control of your diet. We recommend a plant-based diet as the healthiest. You will virtually eliminate cardiovascular diseases, among others. However, if you can’t yet make that leap, limit your intake of animal-based products to small amounts and certain days of the week
