If you have seen our article on how the current meth drug epidemic was brought about with government, Big Ag and Big Pharma forces at play, it will not come as no surprise that the war on drugs as such is also a hoax.
US guarding the multi-billion dollar opium trade
About 92 percent of the global opium trade comes from Afghanistan. There US troops guard Afghan poppy fields and in order to protect a multi-billion dollar industry that feeds Wall Street, the CIA, MI6, and other groups big time.
Prior to the US invasion, Afghanistan did not have this global posture. The Taliban had been wiping out the poppy fields as part of a revitalization of their country.
After 9/11, the US military-industrial complex reinstated the country’s poppy industry. Right after the invasion, under the Bush administration’s direction (and where senior Bush used to run the CIA, opium cultivation increased by 657 percent.
CIA was responsible
The New York Times reported Afghan President Hamid Karzai’s brother had been on the payroll of the CIA for eight yea. Ahmed Wali Karzai was a crucial player in reinstating the opium drug trade, known as Golden Crescent, and the CIA had been financing the opium trade.
“The Golden Crescent drug trade, launched by the CIA in the early 1980s, continues to be protected by US intelligence, in liaison with NATO occupation forces and the British military,” wrote Prof. Michel Chossudovsky in a 2007 report. “The proceeds of this lucrative multibillion dollar contraband are deposited in Western banks. Almost the totality of [opium]revenues accrue to corporate interests and criminal syndicates outside Afghanistan”
Mainstream media distorts story
Mainstream media claims the army is protecting fields to keep the local addicted population happy, which was so much bull. See FOX report int he video below.
