Great Green Juice Recipes

(Healingtalks) I love to write about green juice recipes because the \benefits of such juicing are so multiple and tje green juices are the most healing. Green chlorophyll drinks are supreme and chlorophyll has a chemical structure very close to hemoglobin and tends to both oxygenate and detoxify, thus increasing overall health.

Secret for tasty green juice

Our green juice recipes tend to have a combination of five flavors to make them optimally delicious. These flavors include:

  • Sweet (fruit, including low-sugar tomatoes and peppers which are technically fruit, carrots and beets
  • Sour (lemon, lime)
  • Salty(celery, sea salt, dulse or other seaweeds)
  • Hot (cayenne, jalapeno peppers)
  • Savory (ginger, garlic, basil, curry and other ethnic spices)

Greens for health

For the most healthy recipes use primarily green vegetable drinks and with greens such as lettuce, celery, cucumber, Swiss chard, cabbage, collards, parsley and kale. These are among the most nutrient-dense foods in a juice diet. Also include wheatgrass and bok choy. Use your ingenuity to make at least an 8 ounce glass. Drink and enjoy your living foods juice. If you are storing for later use, add a tablespoon of vitamin C powder or lots of lemon and lime. This is especially important if you are on a program of multiple drinks, as with daily juice feasting or juice fasting. Daily juicing give a more powerful detox.

Otherwise drink one or more green juices as part of a detox day or every day in order to feel super-great!
