CHLOROPHYLL AND HEMOGLOBIN
Benefits of making green smoothies are multiple. As pictured above let the base we some kind of greens to end up with the most healing of liquids. Green chlorophyll blends are supreme because chlorophyll has a chemical structure very close to hemoglobin and tends to both oxygenate and detoxify our bloodstream, thus increasing overall health.

SECRET FOR TASTY GREEN SMOOTHIE
Our green recipes tend to have a combination of five flavors to make them optimally delicious. These flavors include:

Sweet – fruit (such as the strawberries pictured above). You can also include low-sugar tomatoes and peppers which are technically fruit, as well as carrots and beets
Sour – lemon, lime
Salty – celery, sea salt, dulse or other seaweeds
Hot - cayenne, pepper, and jalapeno peppers
Savory
– ginger, garlic, basil, curry and other ethnic spices

GREENS FOR HEALTH
For the most healthy recipes  use primarily green vegetables such as lettuce, celery, cucumber, Swiss chard, cabbage, collards, parsley and kale. These are the most nutrient-dense foods for a juice or blended diet. We know this thanks to research of Dr. Joel Fuhrman. Also include wheatgrass and bok choy. Use your ingenuity to make at least an 8 ounce smoothie. Add the whole food to your blender. We use a super-effective Vitamix. Drink and enjoy your  living foods blend as soon after you make it as possible. If you are storing for later use, add a tablespoon of vitamin C powder or lots of lemon and lime. Put this into an airtight glass container as often used in canning. Bring this several times a day and you will feel much better  – given the intense nutrients and powerful detox effects

FEELING SUPER-GREAT
Otherwise drink one or more green smoothies every day in order to feel super-great!

  2. Great article, thank you. I am very interested in finding a diet that lowers my sugar intake. I currently have a sweet-tooth, and am finding it difficult to find meal plans, what to eat for snacks, etc. While diabetes is not something that runs in my family, I am still concerned and would like to be smart and take a proactive approach to my health.
