Benefits of a Raw Vegan Diet

Health need not be defined by the absence of pain, disease or tension. It can be characterized by a level of vitality or a state of joy. We hold the power to create such inner riches.

GOOD NUTRITION IS A REQUIREMENT
One cannot this, however, with on-going poor nutrition. Food is more than just a fuel to give mechanical energy to our bodies. We are not just machines. Food is also a means to enhance our life force and consciousness.  One can experience this with a raw or living-food vegan diet. Being an organic diet will also support optimum health. Then there is the issue of hydration which includes all liquid nourishment. What is liquid, like our bloodstream, carries life’s essence.

Short and simple, among other things, we recommend a Vitamix blender in every kitchen. This helps extract nutrients from our whole foods so that we can harvest the optimum vital forces out of our diet.

Because we come from a mechanical worldview we are taught to think that foods are nothing more than a conglomeration of chemical elements – carbs, protein, fats, and so on. In this blog and at http://www.raw-wisdom.com/articles I try to outline a different understanding, one that is more reliable and workable for healing the whole of ourselves.
