Ron Paul warns of

real harms to America

Nathan Batalion, Global Health Activist, Healingtalks Editor

(Healingtalks) A healing blog normally is focused on giving you the means to heal yourself, and to ward off the external threats to your health. But there is more happening to our world that can upset our well-being than just a virus.

When I came to the US  from Germany some 50 years ago, my family were the lucky survivors of the war. This was when America was the land of the free and the home of the brave – a refuge for those seeking shelter from political and religious tyranny. When my uncle came to the US, shortly before us, he kissed the ground. We all worshiped the Statue of Liberty

Who’s not aware that lots has changed in America?

Lots has happened since, and the change is about to accelerate. If you are not aware of sinister elements of the US government that are preparing for marshal law on our soil – you are not entirely with it. My dad saved his life in 1939 when he read Hitler’s Mein Kampf and knew something evil was amiss. He fled to Poland, then Russia and survived the war. Without his foresight, I would not be alive to write these words.

Germany was then a full democracy. It was also a “high culture” as well-  the land of Goethe, Beethoven and Mozart. People said it just couldn’t happen there. Then, like the demolition of Twin Towers, came the burning of the Reichstag and the abrogation of liberties, supposedly to protect Germans like the Patriot Act. Heimland or Homeland Security was initiated there as here (ring a bell?). Many of those who refused to believe this all was happening, especially among Jews, died in the camps in the millions. It may seem unimaginable for something similar to be brewing.  But a criminal elite in our country has recently been freaked by the rapidity of Middle East uprisings, unseating tyrants, and by the freedom of information of the Internet, and more recently by the  Occupy Wall Street movement. They are taking it seriously.

Thus they have vastly accelerated a plan, more than a decade in the making.

marshal law in US

More than just threatening marshal law

When the banks, who pull the strings of Washington government, demanded a bailout as their right, when some Congressmen balked, they threatened marshal law. The banksters are doing the same in Europe now, threatening marshal law if the Euro collapses. But the threats in the past were empty because they weren’t prepared for it, not as yet.  As unbelievable as it sounds, they have been systematically planning for it, and soon these banksters who tell Obama, what to do and when, will be ready. Thus we are close to facing times like the demise of democracy in Germany. Don’t kid yourself, thinking that such a view is just one of extremism and unfounded.

Wake up America. Smell the REAL detentions camps that FEMA has already built to house millions of Americans all over the US, 800 camps built under contract by Haliburton beginning in 1999. Now for the first time these are openly being staffed for emergency 72 hour activation. If you are at all spooked, it is a time for a call to action. Should I mention some really have ovens and a store of 500,000 plastic coffins. Now that would be too much to mention.

Legislative key to Americans occupying the camps

The legislative key for operating and occupying these camps is the ‘indefinite detention’ provision’of the National Defense Authorization Act. It is set now been rushed for a vote in the House and Senate. It is an open and dangerous step to establish full martial law in America – and basically to shred the Bill of Rights and the Constitution.

Speaking with the Alex Jones Show today, Congressman Paul went on the offensive against the bill, which is set to be signed into law by President Obama later this week.

Battlefield of NDAA bill – Section 1031

Section 1031 of the NDAA bill, which itself defines the entirety of the United States as a “battlefield,” allows American citizens to be snatched from the streets, carted off to a foreign detention camp and held indefinitely without trial. The bill states that “any person who has committed a belligerent act” faces indefinite detention, but no trial or evidence has to be presented, the White House merely needs to make the accusation.

Paul said he saw significance in “the announcement and the arrogance of it all,” making reference to the Obama administration’s claim that it can now assassinate American citizens anywhere in the world and noting that the passage of the NDAA bill is an effort to codify the policy into law.

biggest news police state

This is the biggest news of our times

“This is a giant step – this should be the biggest news going right now – literally legalizing martial law,” said Paul, noting that the subject did not come up at all in any of the Republican debates.

The Congressman also decried the “arrogance” of an attempt to push through via a voice vote an amendment that would have still authorized indefinite detention even if a detainee was found innocent after a trial. The amendment was narrowly defeated by his son, Senator Rand Paul.

“This is big,” emphasized Paul, adding “This step where they can literally arrest American citizens and put them away without trial….is arrogant and bold and dangerous.” Despite speculation that the Obama administration would veto the bill, it emerged yesterday that it was the White House itself which worked to remove language from the bill that would have protected American citizens from indefinite detention under Section 1031.  The administration has been working with lawmakers to alter a separate provision, Section 1032, which pertains to the military being required to take custody of individuals.

With the administration’s concerns over Section 1032 now largely resolved, a revised and final version of the bill could be signed into law before the end of the week. “The conferees said they plan to bring the bill to the House floor for a vote as soon as Wednesday afternoon and to the Senate soon thereafter,” reports Politico.

Despite the revisions, the bill still contains language that allows Americans to be detained without trial at a detention center anywhere in the world.

Legislators are intentionally misleading Americans

Republican Congressman Justin Amash has again warned that lawmakers are attempting to mislead the American people by claiming U.S. citizens are exempt from the most dangerous provisions of the bill. “Pres. Obama and many Members of Congress believe the President ALREADY has the authority the bill grants him. Legally, of course, he does not. This language was inserted to keep proponents and opponents of the bill appeased, while permitting the President to assert that the improper power he has claimed all along is now in statute,” writes Amash.

“They will say that American citizens are specifically exempted under the following language in Sec. 1032: “The requirement to detain a person in military custody under this section does not extend to citizens of the United States. Don’t be fooled. All this says is that the President is not REQUIRED to indefinitely detain American citizens without charge or trial. It still PERMITS him to do so,” warns the Congressman.

call to actionSuper-urgent call to action

Amash is encouraging Americans to contact their representatives and sign a petition expressing their opposition to the NDAA bill, calling it “one of the most anti-liberty pieces of legislation of our lifetime.”
