(HealingTalks) What’s really gone into our bodies this year? Food and pharmaceutical companies are still running unchecked, playing Russian roulette with chemicals, hormones, and GMOs. Here are the 6 things most important things that happened in 2012 and to carefully watch out for.

1.) FDA approved Genetically Modified Salmon

Aquadvantage, a genetically modified fish, was approved for human consumption by the FDA in the most sensational case of 2012. The transgenic Atlantic salmon grows twice as fast as the normal salmon. There have been arguments regarding possibility of interbreeding that could lead to immense genetic pollution. Critics also worry that these GM fishes would extinguish the food sources in the natural salmon’s habitat due to its extra large size. In spite of all this, FDA has given it an environmental approval.

2.) Big Pharma Vaccine Fraud by Merck

Merck allegedly claimed that their MMR-II (mumps, measles, and rubella) vaccination tests worked when they actually failed. They sold an estimated 4 million doses of ineffective and mislabeled vaccine per year for at least a decade. They are accused of misleading both regulators and customers about a potential life saving medical product.

3.) Proposition 37

Nearly 47% of California residents voted for and 53% againstthe proposal to labeling genetically engineered food. Whether there was some fraud involved in the voting count is still a matter of contention. Assuming the vote is valid, the proposal failed on the assumption that food labeling would cost taxpayers millions and increase family grocery bills by thousands of dollars per year during a time when the economy is slowing down. At the same time, it was argued that Proposition 37 would give people the right to know what is in the food they eat. Choosing the food or not would entirely depend on a person’s choice.

4.) Monsanto and the intellectual property fraud

In 2007, Monsanto illegally prosecuted a farmer, Vernon Hugh Bowman, after discovering that he was growing genetically modified soy sprouts on his land that were supposed to be used as commodities without obtaining a license. They stated that Bowman had infringed their patent by using the product as seeds. Bowman’s appeal was accepted by the United States Supreme Court on the grounds of patent exhaustion. On August 1, 2012, Monsanto won a verdict against DuPont for willful infringement by the accused and were awarded a verdict of $1 billion. This became the fourth largest patent verdict in the history of United States of America.

5.) CDC admissions of Neurotoxins in vaccines

It was proven that the CDC produced vaccines that contained Formaldehyde (a highly toxic chemical that may cause blindness, brain damage, and cancer); Monosodium glutamate (a neurotoxin that causes migraine headaches, endocrine system damage, and even death); Mercury (highly toxic element that causes permanent damage to the nervous system); and Aluminium (a metal that causes dementia and Alzheimer’s disease).

6.) Toxic Food Additives That Affect the Human Neurology

Clinical and experimental tests have shown that the various excitotoxins that are added to various food items contain monosodium glutamate (MSG), hydrolysed vegetable protein, and Aspartame. It was proven by the FDA that these additives have nothing to do with food preservation. They are used to alter or enhance the disagreeable taste. Aspartame acts as a artificial sweetener that magnifies the desired taste of food. Excitotoxins are largely responsible for the development of many disorders related to neurology such as migraines, neuropsychiatric disorders, demetia, neuro-degenerative diseases, obesity, endocrine disorders, and Parkinson’s disease.
